Words are Birds is an anthology project between students at Thornhill primary schools and the poet Paul Lyalls and All Change Arts. I had the honour of illustrating and designing the book. You can buy a copy here.
Grandmas Footsteps is a collaborative online story project between the author Patrice Lawrence, Beckfoot Heaton primary school, the National Centre for Atmospheric Science and myself the Illustrator. The story explores concerns surrounding air pollution. I was also able to conduct Zoom session with the students to talk about my career and demonstrate some simple character design tips.
Boredom Research In Search of Chemozoa : Children’s activity booklet to accompany Boredom Research’s In Search of Chemozoa exhibition at Aspex. Features paper based activities exploring the themes of tumours and microscopic organisms. I also lead a zoom workshop with home school pupils making the DIY microscopes which feature as an activity. Black Victorians Children’s Activity Booklet was a passion projected inspired by my learning of Prince Alemayehu an Ethiopian prince held as a prisoner of war. The booklet features fun paper based activities on wealthy black Victorians.
